Received the B.Sc. degree (with honors.) in Electrical Engineering from Alexandria University, Egypt, in 2005, the M.Sc. degree in Communications from Alexandria University, Egypt, in 2010, and the PhD degree from McMaster University, Canada, in 2014. I have received the Philomathia Foundation Fellowship in 2011 and McMaster International Excellence Award in 2012. Currently, I am a post-doctoral fellow in ECE department at University of British Columbia (UBC). My research interest includes MIMO communications, Grassmannian codebook design, linear precoding, Degrees of Freedom analysis and Interference Alignment.
